Our range of salon aftercare products including our sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner formulas will give your hair extensions extra nourishment and keep them revitalized and is for everyone who needs better care for their hair extensions with clean, shiny and tangle-free hair.

  • Brush your hair extensions before shampooing to ensure its tangle-free.
  • The extensions are attached to your natural hair and therefore pulling them can result in pulling out your natural hair. Secure the hair with one hand whilst detangling to avoid any pressure or tension on your natural hair or our connections. Start brushing your hair from the bottom and move slowly to the top. Ensure you are using our professional hair extension brush to avoid breakage or damage to your own hair.
  • It’s important that you shampoo your G4H hair extensions with our sulfate-free shampoo and apply conditioner only to mid-lengths and ends of your hair, let the conditioner sit and soak into your hair extensions, before rinsing. When conditioning, avoid products on the root area and thoroughly rinse to avoid any build-up
  • Never go to sleep with wet hair, always make sure your hair extensions are completely dry to avoid tangling. Braid your hair into a loose ponytail when sleeping to avoid the cuticles from rubbing together, this will avoid tangling.
  • For the first few days after hair extension application, avoid tight ponytails or up do’s.
  • Always tie your hair back in a braid or ponytail whilst swimming, and to protect your hair extensions from harmful chlorine/saltwater, apply conditioner to mid-lengths and ends.
Always shampoo immediately after swimming and detangle as normal
  • When in direct sunlight for long periods of time, always cover your hair.
  • If wearing Tape Wefts, ensure you dry off the roots and tape area completely, to avoid impairing the performance of the specially formulated holding tape.
  • Don’t brush hair extensions when wet. The most common cause of matting is when hair extensions are brushed wet, causing the hair to stretch and break. Only a wide-tooth comb should only be used on wet hair.
  • Don’t go to bed with wet hair
  • Don’t apply heat above our recommended 160c or lower, otherwise, it can destroy your natural hair and the hair extensions-this cannot be reversed, and will your hair will always show signs of heat damage. Always use temperature-controlled heating appliances and heat-protective spray or oil.
  • Don’t leave your hair extensions in longer than 3 months, if you are wearing Tape Weft no longer than 6 weeks.
  • Don’t try to maintain your hair extensions yourself, any issues, go back to the salon where you had them fitted.
